Job summary

Hynds Pipe Systems Limited is seeking a Production Technician at the Winton Factory in New Zealand. You will support production planning, assist with mould setup and concrete casting, and help maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

The role requires experience in precast concrete products, ability to read plans, and a hands-on approach to manufacturing. You will work with a safety-conscious team and contribute to meeting daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience with precast concrete products is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret plans/drawings.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Manual handling up to 25 kg.
• Solid understanding of workshop health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production schedule adherence to meet the production plan.
• Mould setup/assembly, casting concrete, formwork stripping and finishing.
• Dismantle forms after curing; mark products per drawings.
• Operate power tools and forklift; handle materials.
• Maintain quality control and address non-conformances promptly.
