Job summary

Hynds in Winton, NZ, is seeking a Production Technician to join our concrete manufacturing team. You will help achieve the production plan, set up moulds, cast concrete products, and support health and safety initiatives on site.

You'll bring experience with precast concrete, ability to read plans/drawings, and a practical approach to decision-making and quality control, with a willingness to pass pre-employment checks and work in NZ.

Qualifications

• Experience with precast concrete products.
• Ability to read and interpret plans/drawings.
• Decisive and able to implement decisions.
• Health and safety awareness and compliance.
• Legal right to work in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production schedule is adhered to to achieve the production plan.
• Mould setup, mould assembly, reinforcement assembly, casting of concrete, finishing works.
• Dismantle forms after concrete has cured and label products per drawings.
• Operate portable concrete mixer and hand-cast concrete products; assist with material handling.
• Ensure quality control sheets are used and non-conformances are acted on promptly.
