Peter Alexander in Waikato (The Base) is opening our first Hamilton store and seeks an experienced fashion Retail Store Manager to lead this new chapter. As the founding Store Manager, you will build a brand-new team, set the standard for excellence, and create the Peter Alexander experience from day one.

This 40-hour-per-week role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, coaching your team, and maintaining brand standards and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and coaching a team.
• Ability to motivate the team and drive brand standards.
• Previous leadership experience, ideally in retail - essential.
• Ability to provide a genuine and unique customer experience.
• Previous Visual Merchandising experience working from a brief.
• Proven ability to achieve sales and KPIs while controlling wage spend and stock loss targets.

ABOUT THE JOB
This 40hours per weekrole is for our nextStore Manager, who will be passionate about creating an unforgettable customer experience, going above and beyond their expectations.

As the founding Store Manager of our newest location, you'll play a key role in launching the store, setting the standard for excellence, and leading your team through an exciting new store opening. If you thrive on building high-performing teams and love the buzz of opening something new, this opportunity is for you.

To succeed in this role you will be motivated by driving sales and passionate about providing a memorable experience for the Peter Alexander customer. In addition you will be able to demonstrate:
