Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland is seeking a full-time Latin educator to lead the Latin programme for Years 8–13, with a start in Term 1, 2027.

You will direct course delivery, assess, and ensure programmes meet student needs and NZ Curriculum/NCEA requirements, while leveraging digital tools such as DioConnect and ManageBac.

The role includes managing the Latin budget and contributing to departmental documents in a supportive, future-focused school environment.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of Latin language and literature.
• Passion for inspiring learners.
• Confident teaching Latin 8–13 with NZ Curriculum/NCEA; IB Diploma Programme knowledge is an advantage.
• Commitment to a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Latin programme delivery for Years 8–13.
• Direct, monitor and evaluate course delivery and assessments.
• Manage the Latin budget and resources; write annual self-review and schemes of work.
• Lead the use of digital learning tools (DioConnect, ManageBac).
• Teach in a supportive, well-resourced environment; collaborate with the Languages team.
