Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland is seeking an inspiring Teacher in Charge of Latin to lead our Latin programme and join our exceptional teaching team.

You will oversee delivery across Years 8–13, manage budget and resources, and drive assessment aligned with NZC and NCEA. Proficiency with DioConnect and ManageBac is valued, and a commitment to student wellbeing is essential. This is a full‑time fixed‑term role from 27 January 2027 to 26 January 2028.

• Lead the Latin programme across Years 8–13 with assessment and alignment to NZ curriculum requirements.
• Deliver Latin courses and assessments that challenge students and open future learning paths.
• Manage the Latin budget and resources; prepare self-review and schemes of work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery of our Latin programme across Years 8-13. Direct, monitor and evaluate courses and assessments to meet student needs and requirements.
• Deliver courses and assessments that challenge students and open future learning pathways.
• Manage the Latin budget and resources; write departmental documents such as self-reviews, data analyses and schemes of work.
• Lead in using digital learning tools, including DioConnect and ManageBac.
• Carry 1 Management Unit in addition to base salary.
• Teach in a supportive, well-resourced environment with student wellbeing first.
