Job summary

The Plant People is seeking anExperienced Landscape Construction Foreman to supervise multiple crews and subcontractors on outdoor projects in Canterbury. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to high standards.

Responsibilities include planning daily site activities, setting out works from plans, coordinating subcontractors and materials, and maintaining strong health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in landscape construction or site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of civil and hard landscaping construction methods.
• Experience coordinating multiple crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multiple crews across active construction sites.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities.
• Set out works from plans and specifications.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, materials, plant and equipment.
• Maintain strong health and safety standards.
• Monitor quality and compliance throughout project delivery.
• Identify variations and additional works opportunities.
• Build positive relationships with clients, suppliers and team members.
• Mentor and develop staff while leading by example.
