Job summary
Mercury is seeking a mechanical maintenance professional with supervision experience to support Nga Awa Purua and Rotokawa geothermal power stations near Taupo. You will lead maintenance tasks and collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Maintenance & Diagnostics or Mechanical Engineering Level 4.
- Plant operations / process control or maintenance experience in power generation or heavy industry.
- Experience with Geothermal steam turbines and/or major hazard facilities (MHF) would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and solve plant issues, performing reactive maintenance tasks.
- Supervise Mercury mechanical maintenance staff and contractors.
- Use Risk Assessments to plan long term maintenance.
- Identify, share and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion a world class attitude to health and safety.
