Job summary

Mercury NZ Limited seeks an Enterprise Solution Architect to join our Architecture and Data team. You will bridge business and technology, framing recommendations around business outcomes and contributing to technology roadmaps and standards.

You will translate complex concepts for stakeholders, engage early in delivery, and help define reference architectures while supporting delivery planning, risk management and governance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in modelling notations (UML, ArchiMate, BPMN) and agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-relevant language for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership on technology direction grounded in Mercury's business strategy and goals.
• Engage early in the delivery lifecycle to guide decisions before they harden.
• Define and maintain reference architectures and patterns with stakeholder endorsement.
• Develop conceptual solution models aligned to business needs and technology roadmaps.
• Support delivery planning, estimation, and risk management.
• Contribute to Mercury's technology standards, policies, and governance processes.
• Grow capability across Mercury through the architecture community.
