Job summary

Evolve Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise & Security Architect to lead the architecture workstream for a large cyber security transformation in Hamilton. This 24-month fixed-term role is based in Hamilton with 1 day per week onsite and the remainder remote, reporting to programme leadership.

You will own architecture decisions across security, infrastructure, cloud, IAM, and data domains, working with vendors and stakeholders to drive governance and design authority.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as both Enterprise Architect and Security Architect.
• Experience leading architecture in large transformation or cyber security programmes.
• Strong governance and Design Authority experience.
• Hands-on approach balancing strategic oversight with detailed design.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments with legacy platforms and multiple vendors.
• Certifications in security and enterprise architecture are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own programme-wide architecture and decision outcomes.
• Establish and lead the Design Authority Board.
• Develop target-state architecture, standards, principles, and patterns.
• Ensure alignment between programme and enterprise architecture.
• Provide leadership across security, infrastructure, cloud, IAM, and data domains.
• Review vendor designs and technology proposals.
• Support governance, delivery gates, and implementation planning.
• Assess security risks and incorporate controls into designs.
• Guide architecture decisions across concurrent workstreams.
