Job summary

Aotea Group in Queenstown is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman/Senior Electrician to lead high-end residential and commercial projects across the Queenstown Lakes region.

You will run projects, coordinate teams, maintain client relationships, and ensure safety and quality. You’ll stay connected to the trade and jump on the tools when needed, sharing your knowledge with junior staff.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Electrician with current practising licence.
• Experience leading teams and running projects.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to mentor apprentices and support team development.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front by running residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate electrical teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Stay hands-on when needed and mentor junior tradespeople.
