Job summary

Data Domain seeks a Principal Consultant - Data and AI to lead data strategy and AI enablement for enterprise clients in New Zealand. You will navigate from ambition to execution, translating complex needs into scalable solutions.

You will shape AI-ready enterprises, design scalable data platforms, and drive senior stakeholder conversations while mentoring teams and staying ahead of industry shifts.

Qualifications

15+ years in data consulting, architecture, or advanced analytics roles.
Hands-on experience with Agentic AI solutions and data pipelines.
Proven pre-sales capability including proposals, RFPs, and statements of work.
Experience with data transformation and orchestration tooling.
Strong AI/ML enablement and data governance understanding.

Responsibilities

Shape AI-ready enterprises by delivering data and AI roadmaps.
Lead pre-sales and design, shaping proposals and costed engagements.
Architect modern data platforms across MS Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake.
Drive client relationships with senior stakeholders.
Govern architecture with lineage, quality, security, and access control.
