Job summary

PeopleLogic is seeking a hands-on Commissioning Engineer (Process / Clean-Tech) in the Wellington region to take a first-of-a-kind clean energy system from build to live sites. You will own end-to-end commissioning, work remotely on tests, and travel across New Zealand and Australia as required.

This role offers a growth path into leading installations and teams, with a focus on solving unique technical challenges and reducing emissions through cleaner energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Process or chemical engineer, or mechanical engineer with thermal background.
• At least two years commissioning custom or first-of-a-kind equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, hot and cold commissioning, and site acceptance testing at customer sites
• Diagnose and run live plants remotely from the office
• Test new equipment, prototypes, and sub-assemblies
• Plan and run experimental campaigns to validate R&D work, in the workshop and on site
