Job summary

Goode Brothers Botany is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen with creativity and a passion for great food. You will oversee menu development, cost control, rostering and training, ensuring top quality and safety.

You will inspire the team, maintain high standards, and create dishes that keep guests returning. A hands-on leader with at least two years in a Head Chef or Senior Sous role and an NCEA Level 4 cookery qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Two years+ experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
• NCEA Level 4 qualification in cookery is required.
• Proven leadership experience managing people, budgets and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu development and cost control.
• Lead, train and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes while maintaining safety standards.
