We are looking for an accomplished Lead Business Intelligence Advisor to join a large, nationally significant public-sector organisation.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who can operate strategically across an enterprise while remaining close enough to the technology to design solutions, diagnose complex issues and provide credible technical guidance.
You will work alongside experienced data and BI leaders within an established practice of approximately 20 people. The role will contribute across a portfolio of 10 to 15 projects, as well as supporting BAU delivery and the continued development of the organisation’s enterprise BI capability.
This is not a project management role, nor is it a purely hands-on development position. It requires someone who can move comfortably between strategic advisory conversations, stakeholder engagement, solution design, technical delivery and team mentoring.
You will bring a strong combination of technical credibility, consulting capability and enterprise-level thinking.
This is an opportunity to influence BI capability at an enterprise level while remaining meaningfully involved in technical delivery. You will contribute across a diverse and highly visible portfolio, work alongside experienced leaders, and help shape how analytics and intelligence are delivered across the organisation.
The role is available as an initial six-month contract and can be based in Wellington or Auckland, with Wellington preferred.
