Job summary

TEKsystems in Wellington is seeking a BI Engineer for a 6-month engagement with hybrid working arrangement (3 days onsite in Wellington). You will analyze operational data, create reports and dashboards, and provide insights to improve business performance across ANZ.

You will build and maintain reports using Power BI, leverage SQL for data extraction and interpretation, and support data quality and governance efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI and Excel to build reports.
• Strong SQL skills, ideally in Oracle 19c.
• Python skills from beginner to intermediate.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience presenting data with clear visualizations.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach.
