Job summary

Bournemouth Aviation Services Ltd (BASL), part of the Jetfly Group, seeks an experienced aircraft maintenance professional to join its Bournemouth maintenance center. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and certification tasks in line with Part 66/Part 145 standards, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Fluent English and a current EASA B1.1 and/or CAA license are required, with at least five years’ hands-on maintenance.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of practical aircraft maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of Part 145 regulations.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Willing to travel occasionally and cover AOG duties or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft maintenance within Part 66 / Part 145 limitations.
Issue certificates for release to service and EASA/CAA Form One’s.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement rational rectification using approved maintenance data.
Lead, instruct, and motivate trainees to maximise efficiency.
Update maintenance management system with activities, component changes and man-hours.
Maintain high-quality documentation, including parts, man-hours and relevant information for defects.
Receive, store, and preserve parts according to regulations and procedures.
Ensure tools are available and the work environment is safe.
