Job summary

Oceania in Christchurch is recruiting a casual Laundry Assistant to support our Addington Gardens Village team. You will handle laundry services, ensure linens and bed sheets are cleaned, folded, and neatly stored, and keep the work area organized.

We value reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work rosters. This role offers variety, on-site work, and a supportive team dedicated to quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry experience in aged care or hospitality.
• Ability to handle chemicals safely and according to procedures.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Our Addington Gardens Village in Christchurch are looking for a casual Laundry Assistant to join their dedicated team.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with all aspects of laundry services
• Ensuring all linens, clothes and bed sheets are washed folded and organised neatly
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy
• Following set policies and procedures to ensure all areas are safe, and hazard free
• Enjoying a role with plenty of variety.
