Job summary

Moffat in Canterbury is seeking an experienced welder to join a busy production team. You will operate hand-held laser welding equipment and weld stainless steel and sheet-metal components to high quality standards.

Key duties include reading production drawings, checking weld quality, maintaining safety, and keeping the work area clean. A reliable, detail-focused team player with MIG/TIG or general welding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous laser welding experience preferred.
• MIG/TIG or general welding experience will be considered.
• Sheet-metal or manufacturing experience.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a production team.
• Commitment to Health & Safety.
