Job summary

Canstaff is seeking a Hard Landscaper for ongoing work in Canterbury. You’ll be involved in a range of outdoor landscaping tasks, including retaining walls, fencing, paving, deck building, and site preparation. We value reliability, physical fitness and teamwork.

Digger or machinery experience is an advantage; WTR endorsements a bonus. Competitive pay starting at $25+ per hour based on experience, with ongoing work and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or construction is required.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
• Ability to work safely and reliably in a team.

We're looking for reliable and motivated Hard Landscapers to join a busy and growing team in Canterbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys outdoor, hands‑on work.

About the Role

You’ll be involved in a wide range of hard landscaping tasks, including:

• Retaining wall construction
• Fencing
• Paving and pathway installation
• Deck building
• Basic concrete boxing
• General site preparation
• Digger operating (experience preferred)
• WTR is ideal but not essential, the right attitude and willingness to learn go a long way!

What We're Looking For

• Previous landscaping or construction experience
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Able to work well in a team
• Digger or machinery experience is an advantage
• WTR endorsements a bonus
