Job summary

Eliot Sinclair is growing, and we are seeking Land Surveyors to join our teams across the South Island. We have roles available in our Christchurch, Hokitika, Nelson and Queenstown offices.

You will work alongside experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyors on land development and infrastructure projects, with mentoring and licensing support available. Relocation assistance may be available, and temporary accommodation can be provided in Queenstown for the Queenstown role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Surveying from the University of Otago (recent graduates welcome) or graduate diploma in surveying with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Interest in land development and infrastructure projects.
• Sound communication skills and professional judgement.
• A practical, considered approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with 12d Model is an advantage, with training available.
• You must be currently living in New Zealand and legally entitled to work here.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surveying services across land development and infrastructure projects.
• Undertake topographical, setting out, UAV, cadastral, hydrographic and 3D laser scanning surveys.
• Collaborate with surveyors, planners and engineers across our South Island offices.
• Manage projects appropriate to your experience, with technical support and review.
• Participate in mentoring and professional development, including licensing support where applicable.
