Job summary

Aerofix Fiordland in Te Anau (Fiordland) is seeking an Aircraft Engineer to maintain a mixed helicopter and fixed-wing fleet. The role is based at Te Anau Airport with 8am–5pm hours and some flexibility during busy periods.

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is required. A NZCAA Licensed Engineer (LAME) or experienced AME Tradesman is preferred, with additional consideration for Group/Type Ratings and experience on listed aircraft types.

Description

We have a position available for an Aircraft engineer based at Te Anau Airport. We maintain a mixed fleet of Helicopters and Fixed wing Aircraft in a variety of different roles including Agricultural/Commercial operators through to Private operators. You will need to be a motivated team player, have a ‘Can do attitude’ and be willing to work on a variety of different aircraft types carrying out scheduled & unscheduled maintenance as well as rebuild projects. The role is 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday with the need to be a little flexible during our busy periods.

• NZCAA Licensed Engineer (LAME) or an experienced AME Tradesman would be considered.

• Preference would also be given to someone with Group/Type Ratings or experience on the following Aircraft types: Robinson R44 & R22, Hughes 269/300, MD500 series, Bell 206 & 407, AS350 series, Cessna 172 & 206 fixed wing.

• There would be an attractive remuneration package based on your Qualifications and experience.

• This position is based in Te Anau, Fiordland which offers very affordable living in the Southern lakes region, Queenstown & Invercargill only 1.5 hrs away.
