Job summary

Enterprise Limited seeks a reliable Labourer to join their busy yard operations in New Zealand. You will assist with packing and processing non-ferrous scrap while upholding high safety standards in a hands-on team environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous labouring/yard or warehouse experience, be physically fit, dependable, and capable of working independently. Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential. Immediate start and full-time hours offered.

Labourer - Yard Operations

Our client, a well-established metal recycling and processing business, is seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to join their busy yard team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining high safety standards, and works well as part of a team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for assisting with the packing and processing of non-ferrous scrap materials while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the yard. Duties include:

• Hand stacking and packing materials into export containers.
• Operating baling machinery for non-ferrous scrap materials.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Reporting maintenance requirements and safety concerns.
• Assisting across various yard operations as required.
• Forklift operation for suitably licensed and authorised operators.
