Job summary

ALH Auckland is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator & Labourer in Penrose, Auckland, to join a well-established paints and solvent coatings company. You'll work in a clean, organised factory environment with safety at the fore and rotating 12-hour day/night shifts.

You will operate automated machinery, load raw materials, wear full-faced masks, perform quality checks, and move products around the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience with rotating shifts in a manufacturing environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug Test and MOJ Check.
• Good references from previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated machinery and perform startup/shutdown.
• Load raw paint materials into coating machines.
• Wear full-faced masks in paint room environment.
• Perform quality checks and inspections.
• Clean and maintain machinery and work areas.
• Move products and stock around the warehouse.

• Location: Penrose
• Pay Rate: $29.00 – $30.00 per hour

Shift Pattern

• Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts on a weekly basis
• MUST have previous experience working on rotating shifts

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operating & Labouring

• Operating automated machinery (start-up, shut-down)
• Loading raw paint materials into coating machines
• Wearing full-faced masks in a paint room environment
• Performing quality checks and inspections
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery and work areas
• Moving products and stock around the warehouse as required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working on rotating shifts
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Willingness to learn and operate various types of equipment
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test and MOJ Check
