Kiwi Lumber Group in New Zealand is seeking a Processing Operator to support timber processing operations. Based at the Optimiser facility, duties include building and stacking timber packets, carrying out quality checks and documentation, and assisting the team with other tasks as required.
The role offers an hourly rate with potential production bonuses, guaranteed training and development, optional health checks and medical insurance, and a staff referral incentive.
We are currently recruiting for a Processing Operator to assist with our timber processing operations. Based in the Optimiser, the key duties include:
The role has a direct impact on our production levels and quality and therefore plays an important part in the overall success of the mill. The hours of this role are Monday to Thursday 7am to 7pm.
Although not required, the ideal candidate would ideally have experience with either timber processing or timber machine operation in a manufacturing environment, sawmill or similar.
You’ll also have a positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to undertake work in a safe and efficient way to ensure our health and safety, quality standards and production requirements are met.
Sound written and numeracy skills will also be required.
