Job summary

Rod Fry Ltd in Nelson Tasman is seeking a short-term Seasonal Worker for Red and Gold kiwifruit thinning. IMMEDIATE START ONLY. Join a friendly, family-run team located around Motueka and Kaiteriteri, combining work with the region’s natural beauty.

This physically demanding role runs 5–6 days per week, 8–9 hours daily, with a pay rate of $25.87 per hour, holiday inclusive. Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and text Selena with the requested details to apply.

Looking for a short-term job in a stunning location? Join our friendly, family-run team for kiwifruit bud thinning IMMEDIATE START ONLY. Just 7 minutes from Motueka and 10 minutes from Kaiteriteri’s golden sands, it’s the perfect spot to mix work with adventure.

What we’re looking for:

• Positive, energetic people (no experience needed!)
• Physically strong, fit, and motivated - this work involves arms above your head and looking up all day.

Work details:

• Season starts: Around the 1st October.
• Duration: 3ish may be slightly more weeks.
• Hours: 5-6 days a week, 8 to 9 hours per day (weather dependent and bud size).
• Pay Rate: $25.87 Holiday inclusive

Facilities available:

• Basic park-up for self-contained vehicles - $50 per week per person
• Showers, toilets, simple kitchen facilities & fridges
