Job summary

Kiwi Te Puke in Te Puke is hiring for bud thinning on our family orchards. You will work in a team of around 12 backpackers and can listen to music or podcasts while you work. Typical hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, every day unless it rains, on our orchard and nearby blocks.

Pay is NZ$26.20 per hour, including holiday pay, paid weekly on Wednesdays. Van accommodation is available onsite if you need it. Must have a valid visa; we do not sponsor visas.

We are building our team of thinners for our family orchards in Te Puke

• Job: Bud thinning. The work itself can be a little repetitive, but you’ll be working in a team of around 12 backpackers, and you’re welcome to listen to music or podcasts while you work.

• Working hours: Typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We work every day unless it rains.

• Location: Te Puke, working on our orchard and a couple of nearby family orchards. The orchards are about 6 km out of town, so you’ll need your own transport.

• Pay: $26.20 per hour, including holiday pay, paid weekly on Wednesdays.

• Accommodation: We have some van accommodation available onsite if you need it.

Must have valid visa already (we do not sponser and cannot hire sse - please do not message me if you don’t have a visa)
