Metlifecare Whangarei Park Village is seeking a part-time Kitchen Hand to support daily meal service for our residents. The role suits someone starting a career in the kitchen, who enjoys teamwork and can work unsupervised in the afternoon/evening shifts.

This permanent position offers 20 hours per week with shifts 3pm–7pm, Saturday to Wednesday, within our on-site kitchen. You’ll help with dishwashing, cleaning, meal prep assistance, and delivering meals within the facility.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and a strong team player.
• Good time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher.
• General cleaning in the Kitchen.
• Assisting with preparation of meals.
• Delivering food to our care home (within the property).
