Presbyterian Support Central invites applications for a Part Time Kitchen Hand at Coombrae Home in Palmerston North. You will support the Food Services Team Leader to prepare and serve meals, maintain hygiene, and ensure residents are well cared for.
This role offers 24.5 hours per fortnight with 4pm–7:30pm shifts across a rotating schedule. Training provided; a full driving licence allowing manual transmission is preferred.

As a Kitchen hand, you will be responsible for assisting the Food Services Team Leader to prepare and serve tasty and nutritious meals for lunch and dinner. Confidence in the kitchen with meal preparation is important along with the following:
As there will be a requirement to carry out meal preparation, some flexibility regarding daily duties will be expected to meet the needs of the kitchen.
This is a part time role working 24.5 hours per fortnight. Hours for this role are working 4pm to 7.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday one week and Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday the following week. There is a possibility of additional hours at times to cover leave and so flexibility and willingness to help at these times is always appreciated!
