Job summary

Amisfield Restaurant in Central Otago is seeking a motivated Kitchenhand to join our busy kitchen team. You will wash dishes and help maintain a clean, hygienic cooking environment during lunch and dinner service.

Ideal candidates are energetic, eager to learn and have experience in a similar role with an understanding of commercial kitchens. NZ citizenship/residency or a valid work permit is required for an immediate start.

Since opening our doors in 2005, Amisfield Restaurant has become an essential destination for all those seeking a revered wine and food experience in Central Otago. Our lunch & evening menus are a collaboration between a group of passionate chef’s striving to make great food. Their dishes represent the work of a small group of fisherman, hunters, gatherers and farmers. About the Role

We are looking to recruit a Kitchenhand to join our innovative, energetic & fun kitchen team. You are a vital part of our operation, washing the dishes and ensuring our busy kitchen is kept clean and hygienic.

About You

We are looking for a kitchenhand who can bring to the following skills and attributes to the table will be:

• Experience in a similar/manual role
• An understanding of commercial kitchens
• Interested in NZ cuisine
• You must be energetic, willing to work hard and learn quickly
• You will be looking for other things that you could do - this can help expand your skills and you could learn some great stuff!
• You will be in New Zealand already or about to arrive as we are keen on an immediate start
• You will need to have have NZ citizenship/residency or a valid work permit
