Job summary

Mitre 10 Papamoa is opening a brand-new MEGA store and is recruiting a Kitchen Designer Team Member to join our showrooms, hardware, paint, seasonal, and power garden departments. This full-time role is based in Bay of Plenty and includes weekend work.

You’ll support the kitchen designer, collaborate with the Retail Manager to manage stock, and deliver outstanding customer service. Prior kitchen design or retail supervision is helpful; we’ll train the right person.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or bathroom design preferred.
• Experience in retail supervision is helpful.
• Strong focus on customer service and presenting a positive store environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen designer to manage the Kitchen Design department.
• Work with the Retail Manager to improve stock availability and inventory control.
• Ensure customers receive outstanding service and contribute to a positive team culture.
