Summerset Holdings is seeking a Casual Kitchen Assistant at our Avonhead village in Christchurch. You will help the kitchen run smoothly, assist with food prep, plating, and maintaining a clean, sanitised workspace for our residents and visitors.
You will work as part of a friendly team, supporting chefs, with shifts offered on an as-needed basis and notice periods that vary. This role contributes to the wellbeing and enjoyment of residents and their families.

As a Kitchen Assistant for our Avonheadvillageyou’ll be at the heart of our kitchen’s day-to-day operations. Your support will help ensure our chefs can deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to our residents and visitors. From assisting with food prep to keeping the kitchen clean and organised, you’ll make a big difference behind the scenes – and you’ll be appreciated for it.
