Job summary

DCM Wellington is seeking a skilled fundraising professional to join our team in Wellington. You will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications to develop compelling funding applications and donor communications, while strengthening relationships with funders and supporters.

You will contribute to fundraising growth by delivering initiatives, managing CRM data, reporting, and insights to inform strategy and donor stewardship.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, philanthropy, donor engagement, partnerships, communications or a related field
• Experience and success in developing and delivering fundraising initiatives and contributing to income growth
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor communications, funding applications and reports
• Strong relationship management skills and the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and deliver high-quality results
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records, reporting and supporter information

Job description

Reporting to the Kaiarataki Pūrongo (Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications), and as a member of the Pūrongo Kāhui (Fundraising, Marketing & communications Team), you'll play an important role in growing and diversifying fundraising income while strengthening relationships with donors, funders and supporters.

You'll work across a range of initiatives, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and make a meaningful contribution to DCM's fundraising growth.
