Kaiako, Years 0–4 – Fixed-term (Teacher Bonding Scheme vacancy)

Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 17/01/2027, End Date: 17/01/2028 (This is an additional teaching position funded for the 2027 staffing year only. The position is fixed-term because the funding is limited to that year, and employment will end on 20 January 2028.)

Te Kura o Matapihi is seeking a kaiako to teach within Years 0–3 from Term 1, 2027. The specific class assignment will be confirmed as part of our 2027 staffing arrangements. This is a full-time, fixed-term position from 21 January 2027 to 20 January 2028.

This position qualifies for the Teacher Bonding Scheme (TBS). The eligible teacher recruited into this vacancy will receive annual payments accumulating to a maximum of $40,000 (before tax) after 5 years
