Te Kura o Matapihi seeks a kaiako to teach within Years 0–3 from January 2027, on a full-time fixed-term basis until January 20, 2028, funded under the 2027 staffing arrangements. The position is associated with the Teacher Bonding Scheme (TBS) and includes MITA support.

The successful applicant will hold a certificated teaching qualification and work across the kura tuatahi with class allocations confirmed as part of the 2027 staffing process.

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher eligible to teach Years 0–8.

Responsibilities

• Teach within Years 0–3 (kura tuatahi) as part of the 2027 staffing plan.
• Placement and class allocation to be confirmed during 2027 staffing arrangements.
• Fulfill duties under the Teacher Bonding Scheme (TBS).
