Marlborough Girls' College is seeking a passionate and skilled Kaiako Māori to lead and support Māori student success. This role includes teaching Te Reo Māori and Te Ao Haka to NCEA Level 3, and serving as the Whānau Teacher for Te Rui o Te Wairau, the school’s kaupapa Māori whānau class.
This is a unique opportunity to positively influence how ākonga Māori connect with their identity, whakapapa, and future aspirations while helping to strengthen kaupapa Māori across the school.
The successful applicant will be supported by a dedicated leadership team, Deputy Principal responsible for Māori success, Komiti Māori, Manutaki Māori, strong partnerships with iwi, hapū and whānau, a supportive Board of Trustees, a curriculum leader, a Kaiawhina, and collaboration with Marlborough Boys’ College and another Kaiako Māori.
