About us

Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA) is a leading provider of early childhood education. We foster inclusive, multicultural learning environments where tamariki can develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

About Māngere Bridge Kindergarten

Māngere Bridge Kindergarten is a creative and innovative learning environment built on strong partnerships between kaiako, tamariki, whānau and our wider community.

We are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and acknowledge Māori as tangata whenua of Aotearoa New Zealand. We value the sociocultural nature of play-based learning and celebrate the freedom tamariki have to explore, discover and experience creativity and wonder.

Our kindergarten environment encourages tamariki to:

  • Test ideas, innovate and solve problems
  • Learn through appropriate risk and challenge
  • Take the lead and ask questions
  • Develop independence and take ownership of their learning

As an Enviroschool, caring for our whenua is embedded in our everyday practice and curriculum. We also have strong relationships with our local kura and enjoy spending Mondays at Ambury Farm as part of our weekly curriculum.

  • Is a fully registered and certificated ECE teacher with a passion for play-based learning
