Job summary

Central Kids Hazelmere in Te Awamutu, Waikato, invites a Kaiako Māraurau – Teacher for a fixed-term role of 1 day per week to cover parental leave until the end of June 2027. Bring your ideas, passion for early childhood education and a collaborative spirit.

You will work with a supportive team focused on tamariki wellbeing, Te Reo Māori and bicultural practices, and strong partnerships with whānau. New graduates are warmly encouraged to apply and contribute to inclusive, high-quality learning

Qualifications

• Level 7 ECE teaching qualification.
• Current practising certificate.
• Current first aid certificate.
• Entitlement to work in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture tamariki in a warm, inclusive early childhood setting.
• Collaborate with whānau and kaiako to support tamariki wellbeing and learning.
• Uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural practice in daily practice.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Kaiako Māraurau | Teacher to join our Central Kids whānau. This position is fixed-term to cover a parental leave period, until end of June 2027
