Job summary

Grasslands Kindergarten in Hamilton is seeking a part-time Kaiako who brings warmth and enthusiasm to early childhood education. You will build strong relationships with tamariki, whānau and your teaching team, contributing to a caring, inclusive learning environment.

This 31.5-hour-week position offers opportunities to support tamariki's social, emotional and physical development while collaborating with a bicultural team and embracing Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) Level 7 is required.
• Teaching Council certification is required.
• Current First Aid Certificate is required.

The Opportunity

Located in the heart of Dinsdale,Grasslands Kindergarten is an important part of the community. We are lookingfor a passionate, motivated and caring part-time Kaiako to join our team.

Working alongside our dedicatedteam of Kaiako, you will help create an engaging, inclusive and stimulatingenvironment that supports tamariki’s social, emotional and physicaldevelopment.

This position is 31.5 hours per week, working thefollowing days and hours:

• Monday 8:30am– 1:30pm 4.5 hours
• Tuesday8:30am – 4:30pm 7.5 hours
• Wednesday 8:30am– 4:30pm 7.5 hours
• Thursday 8:30am– 4:30pm 7.5 hours
• Friday 8:30am– 1:30pm 4.5 hours
