Active Explorers Blockhouse Bay is seeking an ECE qualified Early Childhood Teacher to nurture the youngest learners and build strong relationships with tamariki and whānau.

Our centre champions whanaungatanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and bicultural practice, with a collaborative, supportive team culture. Licensed for 61 children and open Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm, we foster growth, learning and well‑being for staff and children alike.

Qualifications

• ECE qualification with provisional or full Teaching Council Registration.
• Passionate about caring for children under two years of age.
• Caring, nurturing, and committed to high‑quality education and care.
• Effective communicator who builds relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
• Willing to support across the wider centre and contribute to a positive team culture.

Are you passionate about nurturing the youngest learners and creating meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau? At Active Explorers Blockhouse Bay, we're looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our close-knit team.

Licensed for 61 children and operating Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, our diverse teaching team enjoys working collaboratively, supporting one another, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.
