Job summary

Farmyard Preschool in Wellington is seeking a full-time kaiako to join our farm-based early childhood centre. You will connect tamariki with animals, nature and meaningful learning experiences to build confidence, curiosity and responsibility.

We are a collaborative teaching team offering induction, mentoring, and opportunities to influence ongoing development. New graduates are warmly encouraged to apply and supported in your teaching journey.

Job description

Are you a passionate kaiako who believes children learn best through meaningful experiences, strong relationships and opportunities to explore the world around them?

We are looking for an enthusiastic full-time kaiako to join our farm-based early childhood centre. Our unique environment provides tamariki with wonderful opportunities to connect with animals, nature and the outdoors, while developing confidence, curiosity, responsibility and a love of learning.

Our centre is licensed for 77 tamariki across three separate classrooms, and we are looking for someone who will become a valued part of our wider teaching team.
