Job summary

Foxton Preschool and Nursery in Manawatu/Whanganui is seeking a passionate certificated Kaiako for a full-time, permanent role. You will contribute to meaningful partnerships with whānau and deliver child-led learning that nurtures tamariki to discover a love for learning.

We value whanaungatanga, manaakitanga and aroha, with strong support from experienced leaders and ongoing mentoring and professional development to help you grow as a teacher.

Qualifications

• ECE qualification and current teaching registration, or Kaiako in training.
• Commitment to intentional teaching practice.
• Strong communication and partnership-building with whānau.
• Collaborative, positive and flexible teamwork approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality early learning experiences for tamariki.
• Build and maintain meaningful partnerships with whānau and the teaching team.

With a full role of tamariki and our lovely kaiako heading off on maternity leave, we have a position available.This would also suit a kaiako in training.
