Job summary

Talent International in Auckland is seeking a permanent SOC Analyst to join its Security Operations Centre. You will monitor, assess, and triage security alerts, investigate potential threats, and escalate incidents as needed.

You will support incident response activities, maintain runbooks and documentation, and participate in a supported on-call roster, with a clear development pathway and hands-on learning from experienced analysts.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or a SOC environment.
• Good understanding of security fundamentals and incident response.
• Exposure to SIEM, EDR, or cloud security tools.
• Curious, proactive mindset with ability to stay calm under pressure and learn.
