The role covers ongoing security operations, BAU work, and project initiatives, offering guidance, optimization, and strong collaboration with internal teams and MSPs to evolve security posture in a dynamic threat landscape.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in cyber security with cloud-based controls.
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, WAFs and tooling.
• Experience with SIEM, IAM and vulnerability management.
• Experience securing Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Incident response and improving security controls.
• Strong cross-team communication skills.

This is a broad role combining hands‑on security expertise, security improvement initiatives and working closely with external security partners.

Working as part of the Cyber Security Operations team, you’ll help maintain and strengthen security controls across a hybrid environment. You’ll work across both BAU and project initiatives, providing technical guidance, identifying areas for improvement and helping ensure security platforms and services remain effective as the threat landscape evolves.

• Strong knowledge across network security, firewalls, WAFs and security tooling
• Experience with SIEM, Identity & Access Management and vulnerability management
• Experience securing cloud and corporate environments such as Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory
• Hands‑on experience with incident response, security controls and identifying areas for improvement
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across internal teams, vendors and managed service providers.
