Opononi Area School is seeking a passionate junior school teacher to join our coastal community starting January 2027. This full-time fixed-term role offers strong mentoring and leadership support to both experienced teachers and Beginning Teachers (BTs/NZEI members).

We value child-centred pedagogy, culturally responsive practice, and collaboration with whānau and the wider Hokianga community. Housing may be available to assist your relocation and transition into the area.
