Job summary

Chemist Warehouse NZ in Kilbirnie, Wellington, is seeking a passionate Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our team. You will deliver high-quality pharmacy services and collaborate on best practices within a supportive, customer-focused environment.

In this role you will assist with dispensing, manage stock, advise patients on medicines, and maintain accurate records, all under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• NZ Intern Pharmacist with current APC (Intern)
• Ability to undertake pre-registrant year immediately
• Experience in retail pharmacy is advantageous
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with scripts in/and out and dispensing
• General dispensary administration
• Update customer files and maintain accurate records
• Manage dispensary stock, monitor expiry dates
• Provide professional advice on medicines and minor ailments
• Ensure privacy and regulatory compliance
• Count or pour medicines under supervision
• Use Toniq for processing prescriptions
