Job summary

Aone (A.One Kitchens) in Tauranga, NZ is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our estimating team and help deliver accurate, well-costed joinery quotations. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop a career in estimating and pricing.

You will read kitchen plans and specs, liaise with suppliers for pricing, and collaborate with designers and managers to ensure pricing is complete and correct.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office apps.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Understanding of cabinetry, joinery, or interior fit-outs (preferred but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for kitchen and interior projects
• Read and interpret kitchen plans, architectural drawings, and specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing and ensure cost accuracy.
