Job summary

Stellar Recruitment in Cromwell, Central Otago, is seeking an Experienced Lead Joiner to drive daily production, mentor staff and uphold quality standards in a hands-on leadership role.

You will lead by example, work closely with project managers, designers, installers and suppliers, and ensure health and safety compliance across residential and commercial joinery projects. Relocation assistance may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in joinery or carpentry.
• Qualified joiner or carpenter.
• Residential and commercial joinery experience.
• Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Lead factory production and coordinate daily operations.
• Mentor staff including apprentices and fabricators.
• Ensure quality standards and health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, installers and suppliers.

Job description

An Experienced and Motivated Lead Joiner is required for the day to day operation of a manufacturing facility. This is a hands on leadership role to include mentoring, coordination of factory production, maintaining quality standards and leading by example.

Key tasks include:

You will be working closely with the Managing Director, Project Managers, Designers, Installers and Suppliers as well as leading from the front by setting an example for staff including apprentices, factory workers and labourers.

This is a fulltime role for someone with a high attention to detail, is calm under pressure and is looking for a new challenge with a market leading joinery/manufacturing company.

The job is based in Cromwell, Central Otago - if you are looking to relocate from another region, assistance will be considered on a case by case basis.
