Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute hands-on technical expertise within a squad, delivering high-quality digital solutions and reducing technical debt. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with delivery, customer, and strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software engineering and strong experience in Java, React, or mobile development, with a background in Agile teams and DevOps responsibilities. Banking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong experience in Java, React, or Mobile development.
Experience working in Agile teams with DevOps responsibilities.
Exposure to mentoring and knowledge sharing within teams.
Institutional banking experience is a plus.
