Job summary

Sector7 Security in Christchurch is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead electronic security projects from scoping to handover, coordinating customers, suppliers, technicians and management to ensure successful delivery regionally and nationally.

We value practical, delivery‑focused professionals with IT, infrastructure or networks backgrounds who can own projects and collaborate with technical teams.

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience managing technical, IT, infrastructure or systems projects.
• Formal qualification in project management, business analysis, or related discipline.
• Strong planning, scheduling and coordination skills.
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, resources and budgets.
• Experience with clients and technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn the electronic security industry.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope with client requirements.
• Develop plans, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate technicians, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Manage schedules, risks, dependencies and changes.
• Oversee site access and project logistics.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Handle project handover and completion.
• Support technical team to keep projects moving.
• Lead multi-site and national rollouts.
