Job summary

James Pascoe Group is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our PMO and drive IT and business transformation initiatives across our Retail brands. Job description

The James Pascoe Group is one of New Zealand’s most iconic retail groups, with well-known brands trusted by customers nationwide. We’re looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our PMO and support the delivery of a range of IT and business transformation initiatives. In this role, you’ll combine strong business analysis and project management skills to bring structure, momentum and clear direction in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements, map processes and assess solution options to support informed decision-making
• Plan and coordinate project delivery, ensuring initiatives remain on track, within scope and within budget
• Apply PMO governance and fit-for-purpose project delivery practices throughout the project lifecycle
• Build trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders to support effective collaboration and delivery
• Provide clear, timely reporting and proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience in requirements elicitation and management, process mapping, gap analysis and solution evaluation within a fast-paced, evolving IT environment
• Proven project management experience delivering IT projects; a recognised qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 would be an advantage
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and quickly develop an understanding of complex systems, processes and stakeholder needs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and confidently with both business and technology audiences
• Experience in retail, eCommerce platforms and loyalty programmes, along with familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, would be an advantage
